I was going to try a little Puck/Kurt thing next, but IDK, you guys. I have the hardest time with Glee fic. WHY IS IT SO HARD?

bookshop is hosting another fluff meme, and you should all go check it out and participate because, um, it is a thing of joy. I don't know what else to say. JOY.

So far, I've written Eames the Ice Cream Truck driver, but there are probably more to come because I really don't want to do homework. WHAT WILL IT BE, YOU GUYS? Tattoo parlor AU? Dog walker!Arthur? Kissing booth? That cupid!Arthur I owe aredblush? Something else completely random and ridiculous?

True story: today I got a text message from an unknown number. This same unknown number had sent me birthday wishes, and I thought it would be sort of a dick move to answer "Happy birthday!" with "Thanks! Who is this?" Oh, how little did I know. Today, the unknown number texts me, and asks me to be a bridesmaid in their wedding.

There's a very thin connection between that story and the one to follow. I... don't really like weddings. I wrote this for gyzym and aredblush because they are crazy people who encourage me to be crazy at every turn. Also, seriously, gyzym did everything shy of holding me at gun point to make me write it.

You guys! You guys, LET ME TELL YOU A STORY. This is a story of Fandom History.

See, it happened like this bookshop on a dark and stormy posted a prompt the the inception_kink meme.

jibrailis wrote an AMAZING fill for this prompt, Flannel: A Love Story, which you should all go read if you haven't yet, because, see earlier re: AMAZING.

aredblush read this story, and then drew adorable art for it!

In the comments of that post, aredblush said, "I WANT ALL THE FLANNEL FICS IN THE WORLD! GIVE ME ALL OF IT! ESPECIALLY IF THE FLANNEL IS EAMES' AND ARTHUR BORROWS IT AND THEN HE WILL BE IN OVERSIZED FLANNEL THAT SMELLS LIKE EAMES!"

I filled this request with the story I posted in the dead of night last night/this morning, Like I Wanna Live Now, because I've apparently given up the ghost of writing something that isn't so fluffy cotton candy takes a step back to say, "whoa, whoa... that is fluffy."

THEN (and this is the most exciting part for me, really) aredblush decided to DO ARTWORK FOR THE STORY. You guys, it is so adorable! It is the most adorable ever! I am just OVERCOME WITH HEARTEYES. GO LOOK AT IT, I PROMISE IT IS WAY CUTER THAN THE STORY COULD EVER DREAM OF BEING!
