ahahaha I am the master of bad ideas, y'all
It's 3:30 in the A.M. and I just finished watching Dead Snow. Spring Break, wot? Look, I needed something to do while I finished my beer. And now, apparently, I will not be sleeping until the sun decides to go ahead and come on up. Although, that didn't stop them in that movie...

I think I've made my stance on zombie movies pretty clear, right? And like, horror in general? In case I haven't: LOVE THEM. Love them lots!

Dead Snow is awesome, if you like those sorts of movies. I mean, there were a few things that bugged me. I am kind of a traditionalist when it comes to my zombies, so dammit, I don't think they should move fast. And then there were actual plot related things that I won't get into mostly because I'm feeling far too lazy to put up a cut tag for spoilers.

In non zombie related happenings at 3 in the morning, I have been trying to take screencaps of the remix signup form so we can make a post walking people through the process step-by-step, and while normally I'd be thrilled that the cursor didn't show up in my print screen cap, in this case I actually want it, and it isn't there. Any ideas on if that is fixable, and if so how I could go about doing that?

Since it's closing in on 4am now, I think I will go watch some ridiculous romantic comedy with RDJ, since that could only bring me awesome dreams. Had I any ideas, however, I would use this time for Holmes fic. Alas.

Mindlessness wins again! \o?

I totally need a fist shaking icon to aim at, you know, life and the universe and stuff
i. It is really fucking cold. And snowing again, on top of snow. You guys, this never happens here! It ices. Or, occasionally, it snows on top of ice. People classify this as the south! Snow! What the hell. I don't even know what to do with it, honest to god.

ii. Last night my internet stopped working for about two hours. This lead to me (not) doing something productive. I ended up reorganizing my music folder. Which, after my internet decided to return to me, lead to uninstalling and reinstalling itunes, waiting an hour for my music library to load into the newly reinstalled itunes, burning some episodes of Being Human to DVD, and being hounded into finally updating that damn DIVx Codex.

iii. Windows DVD Maker is now refusing to work at all. It keeps randomly crashing. And by randomly I, of course, mean anytime I try to use it at all. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the codex again, and still (STILL!) it is not working for me.

iv. I would, at some point, like to get some things off of my computer in DVD format. Any suggestions? Know of any good, free, programs that would help me to achieve this goal?

v. Oh, technology, how you vex me so. I shake my fist at you, sir!

vi. I finally escaped from my mother's hysterical fear of going anywhere when there is (gasp horror) snow on the ground, and took one of my cousins and my niece to see The Princess and The Frog. It was kind of awesome, you guys, I'm not even gonna lie. Spoilers? I guess? ) I just tried to use < /spoilers> to close that, for the record. Also, the soundtrack is amazing.

vii. I feel like I should have a writing goal or two for the new year. I was thinking about my 100,000 word count, but a) I have already done that, a long time ago and, b) I don't know if that's even possible with school, really. Ideas? Suggestions?

viii. I... don't know what I was going to put here. Even in roman numerals I need even numbers though. Um. Have a song! The Fray covering Hips Don't Lie. I don't even know what this is, but I enjoy it all the same.
