whatya want from me?
Shh. No, I'm totally in bed. And asleep. I did not just stay up until almost 5AM writing, because that would be insane. Especially since I have a programming assignment due tomorrow and an exam in my federal government class on Friday that I haven't even begun to study for.

But, you know, ANYWAY. Let's talk about how Tom Hardy makes doing push-ups look like he's doing porn. )

I just don't even know what to do with this video. Other than get a whole new appreciation for Tom Hardy's ass, because, holy shit. Let's focus on that some more.

Also, so my one true love doesn't think I'm abandoning him for pillow-lippy pastures, how about a video where... a lot of things happen, but my brain gets stuck on how JGL apparently likes it when it's hard )

Also, he laughs. ::chin hands:: I enjoy that a great, great deal. For the record.

Um. Have a rec!

Dream a Little Dream by [livejournal.com profile] meiface. An Arthur/Eames version of the Bank Robber dance video that JGL and Zooey Deschanel did. It's got an amazing flow, and is just the loveliest thing I've read in days. (Which, let's me fair, in Inception fandom is saying something.)

if you like it then you shoulda put a ring on it
I am not here! I am totally making dinner right now! Quit looking at me like I have lost myself in youtube again. That is... only half true. I've also spent a good amount of time with random bandom primers (where is the Frank/Gerard primer? WHERE? I need the bad jokes and the mutual love and geekery and making out on stage. I neeeeed it.)

Anyway, Brendon Urie is sort of a single lady. I'm not even kind of kidding about how many naughty things I would do to that poor boy, you guys. I just really am not.

Fall Out Boy in the studio w/ Brendon Urie during the Making of 20 Dollar Nose Bleed.

The official video for Famous Last words, by MCR. You guys, I don't have words for this band sometimes. "Nothing you can say can stop me" is totally going to get fucking inked.

Ok! Seriously, dinner.

I'll probably be back with more later. ::looks shifty::

your so called music scene (don't mean shit to me)
A List of Things That Suck:

1) Sunburns; peeling
2) Stalker neighbors
3) Diets
4) WORK
5) BANDOM AU MAYBENOT!MPREG BUNNIES (!!!)

A List of Things That In No Way At All Suck:

1) BURN NOTICE
2) Super sugary kid's cereal
3) NAPS
4) 80% of all things Pete Wentz created/endorsed
5) Panic at the Disco Live at Abbey Roads (Especially notable for Spencer Smith, looking like a hotass and also nearly losing an eye; Ryan Ross smiling like a CHILD omg so adorable; possibly the best version of I Write Sins EVER; and OMG The Weight, I love this cover like I love fucking breathing, people. I love this band like I love AIR.)
6) Psych next week!
7) Brendon Urie's voice going all growl-y.
8) Placer Culpable (Guilty Pleasure) I. I cannot stop laughing. Oh, Cobra Starship, you keep stealing my heart!

I think somewhere in here is the hidden message that my life is way too much like the same five episodes of a tv show over and over and over again, and I keep looking forward to the commercial breaks. Or something like that.

OMG Editing/rewrites suck.

If anyone needs me I'll just be over here, pretending that it isn't almost five am, totally not watching MCR videos on youtube, because I have lines! Lines I will not cross!

Dammit.

Also: My want for this is currently matched only by my want to do obscene things to Spencer Smith.

Hopefully, I'll at least get one of those things.

leave yourself for somebody else
Let's talk about boys and music!

Well, no, because mostly my talks about such things are OMG BDEN'S VOICE OMG RYAN ROSS FINGERS FTW OMG JON WALKER HAS AN ENDLESS AMOUNT OF AWESOME OMG OMG SPENCER SMITH HOW DARE YOU ROCK THAT HEADBAND LIKE YOU DO.

So really, we'll just, you know, vid rec!

Think of it as My Ode to The Honda Civic Tour '08

Phantom Planet has no right to be so awesome - I dunno, this is some video from the tour, the guys from PatD and Phantom Planet playing around. Ryan Ross dancing with a football. Ah, ah, I really love this song, too. It's ridiculous how adorable they are.

The Green Gentleman PatD vid - Because, a) the song makes my heart happy; b) Brendon Urie is the biggest dork on the PLANET & c) wee!Panic! Wee!RyanRoss with wee!scarves! Shut up! Watch it! I never said I missed her, when everybody kissed her/ Well I'm the only one to blame

Knowitall, Phantom Planet (acoustic) - I guess this was filmed after one of the shows on the HCT, and it just goes to show, listen, people, seriously: Phantom Planet is FULL OF AWESOME. They stand around and give you autographs and let you take pictures and make sure the pictures turn out and then there is this: singing on the steps outside the venue for like, twenty people. Motherfuckin' A.

Where We Went Wrong, The Hush Sound (acoustic) - ok, fine, I don't even remember if they played this song on this tour or not. But it's totally one of my favorites anyway. And everyone should love it, flist. EVERYONE.

A clip from like, '06, where Brendon Urie sings with The Hush Sound - um, because I am a weak, weak little fangirl. This video also features: proof that white guys should not dance; 17 things that make me flail or keysmash; like, 6 things that make me wonder WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME OMG WHAT HAS BANDOM DONE TO ME.

L. G. FUAD, Motion City Soundtrack - In concert, they say before they start this one that it's a song about stupid people doing stupid things. I think it makes my day a little better when I listen to it at work. let me in, let me in to the club/ because I want to belong and I need to get stung/ and if memory serves I'm addicted to words

The Future Freaks Me Out, Motion City Soundtrack - this is, hands down, my favoritest favorite Motion City song. It's fun, and makes you want to move, and it still has lyrics like Betty won't quit carving question marks in my wrist/ how come we're so alone? and it's so hard to relate to the whole human race/ I don't know where to begin, I don't know where to begin/ if we could just find a way, to do these things that we say/ we might not sit in our room and drink our daydreams away

Folking Around, PatD, live - I guess this was on MTV Canada, but, you know, it's the HCT set and clothing (oh, Ryan Ross, your vests will so not rule the world, even if they rule your band) so. I love this song. I love this song as much as I love a boy with a guitar. I love the way Ryan Ross waves at the crowd. I love the lyrics. I love the way Spencer Smith turns around to smile at the camera. Oh, god, so much love, people, seriously. One day, I will get a tattoo that says: is love is not enough, to put my enemies to sleep.

Ok. Go. Watch. Enjoy!

don't pretend you've never been there
So, yeah, let's not talk about how badly I should be writing my small fandom big bang. Let's just not.

But! Hey, look, I'm not dead? Isn't that cool?

Let's just call this a fly by recs post of fluffy fluffivity. Or something, yeah? I like making up my own words.

The Negotiation Limerick File - Funny, funny, funny fic. Like, listen, people, really. This is what is so awesome about bandom. It can make me smile like no other. For so much emo, there is really so little angst. And anyway, super!secret!spy!fic FTW. We'll pretend it isn't a Panic/MCR crossover. Because I don't read MCR. I do not!

A Day Like Today - To myself, I call this fic PROOF THAT LAURA LOVES ME LIKE BREATHING. It's Sam! And Dean! And hugs! Dude, really, really, are there two boys in the world who need hugs more than Sam and Dean? I think not.

What Kind of Day Has It Been - Sam and Dean meet the Muppets! Just, you know what, just click it. You will, I swear, hand to god, you will laugh until you die.

Brendon Urie cover of Slow Motion - Vid rec! Mostly because it makes me flail around and tell anyone who will listen how OMG I WANT TO MARRY BRENDON URIE'S VOICE OMGOMGOMG HI. No, you know what, I don't know why. I just do. It's a sickness!

Also! OMG I WANT TO GO TO WARPED TOUR LIKE I WANT AIR OK. LIKE AIR! THE ACADEMY! COBRA STARSHIP! MOTHERFUCKING GYM CLASS HEROES! LIKE AIIIR, PEOPLE. DAMN YOU, HIGH FUEL PRICES, WHY MUST YOU CRUSH MY DREAMS?!

Also! Well, my fortune cookie today said: You have a charming way with words and should write a book.

I'm not even kidding.

I might laminate it to my computer.

all the pimps in training over here!
Ok, listen, there's something I really must share with you all. Are you ready? Are you?

Ok.

I LOVE SUPERNATURAL SO MUCH IT MAKES ME CAPSLOCK.

There. There, I said it.

Now, YouTube Stole My April links!

PatD! That Green Gentleman sneak preview - Worth watching for many reasons, not the least of which is wee!Panic saying the line that is my subject. Adorable.

The Cab (One of Those Nights) - Because, um, despite how it's slightly distracting that one of the boys in this band looks just like, uh, whatshisname [not Adam Brody] from the O.C., this video just goes to show why it's called bandom. They won't let me keep them all separated! Which translates to: uh, Hello, Random Brendon Urie and Your Smile. Yes. Shut up.

PatD! Or, you know Brendon Urie talking about... whatever - This video, probably, should be titled BRENDON HEARTS RYAN'S WOOOORDS.

PatD! Nine in the Afternoon, live, acoustic. Because, um, Brendon's voice is, like, awesome. And Jon Walker looks high as a very high thing and it amuses me.

Cobra Starship, Guilty Pleasure - for variety. "I came here here to make you dance tonight."

your grandmother is a blastended skank!
One day, in the future, I will look back at April '08 and think of it fondly as The Month That Was Lost To YouTube.

There should be a rehab for this shit.

I mean, come on, Panic is... The interviews just don't get old. They don't! And neither to the live shows. Because really, I think I love Brendon Urie's voice more live. Which is kind of insane and I am so going to be acting all of 12 next Tuesday (!!!) when I go to see them. I kid you not.

Here, have something not PatD related. Something, in fact, HP related. Please try not to die of shock or laughing.

Also: I love Eli Stone and so should you!

Also the second: REMIX! SO SOON OMG!
