Today, since I clearly needed a Blu-ray disc with which to test the Blu-ray player I had to have, and I couldn't wait until Sherlock Holmes comes out Tuesday. (I still can't. OMG OMG WANT. WANT WANT WANT x1000.) SO I bought Serenity on Blu-ray.
This brings the number of copies of tat movie that I own up to a whopping three. lol Does anyone need a copy of Serenity on DVD? You can't have my collector's edition or Blu-ray, but the other is available for anyone willing to pay shipping. Or write enough Holmes drabbles to qualify for it in remix this year. (Signing up, in that case, is also kind of a must, ftr.)
I've basically spent an insane amount of money this week. But! New computer! Shiny, beautiful, amazing Blu-ray player. Oh, oh, how I love you. And! Warped tickets! With MCS and AAR and Cab babies! The other hefty amounts shelled out were toward unfun things, like car insurance ($125 this month!) and groceries. Eating healthy is expensive, you guys.
I have so much homework it's nuts. But I took a nap earlier and had a kind of horrific dream, and frankly just want to curl up with some good cuddly fluff until my stomach stops trying to claw its way out and runaway, like the coward it is.
Also: the tattoo I've been talking about getting for ages, with the skull and swords, and lyrics? I'm not getting it yet, because I made a weight loss goal reward of it then quit dieting like a loser, but I think I've decided that I want the eyes to be the blue star eyes that Morpheus gets sometimes in the Sandman series.
I am a little bit in love with that character, I'm not gonna lie.
P.S. I'm not sure there is actually anything in the world hotter than Sean Van Vleet's voice on "Animal," especially, but not limited to, "mark me up / you been sweet / but can you show me rough?" Nnngh. I barely manage not to make grabby hands in his direction constantly.
