I'm feeling like what the world needs now is some love, you guys, and what Inception fandom needs is so much love that they over-indulge like a kid in a candy store. You feel a little bit sick the rest of the day, but it tasted awesome so it was worth it.

So, you know, I am the girl with the cookies. As a rule. There may also be cake, because I'm trying out some new recipes. Anyway!

I have not been able to write much lately, but I'm still clinging to the far reaches of this fandom, and every single thing I read makes me wish so hard that I could get back into things and write more than the few, small things I have. It's both inspiring and intimidating, all the wonderful fic and art and general flailing. And you're all so encouraging, too. I want to be a part of it. And I'm going to continue to try my hardest to get back to writing.

To anyone else suffering from writer's block: oh bb, I feel you. I do. Know that you're wonderful and that someone wants to read your work and that someone will be there once you finally break through and get down to it. Take your time but don't give up.

Oh goodness I don't know what the aim of this comment is anymore but I love this fandom, I really do.

I just want to say that you guys are my art inspirations. I haven't posted that much art in this fandom yet (mostly just a little bit of porn) but I am so inspired by the way you guys approach your artwork.

Innueneko- You have this beautiful mix of subtlety of expression and rough textures in your artwork that makes it such a joy to look at. I love the way it everything looks so warm and natural and painted, and your style has such a harmonious quality to it. I've definitely been inspired by the way you use brush textures in my own work.

Fanlay--you have this amazing way of harmonizing such decadent colors with a beautiful clean line--something that so many artists aspire to and so few achieve. I started saving your stuff when I saw it in HP fandom, and if you ever put out a book of your stuff, fandom or non, I would buy like a billion copies.

Inception has sparked a writing frenzy in me, after months of writers' block. The fandom, the people in it, makes me want to write more which is a feeling I've missed.

Sadly, I do spend most of my free time writing, some of my time reading, and not much time getting to know people here. I sometimes feel like a reclusive crazy writer coming out of my cave once a month to peek at the awesomeness that is this fandom.

Off the top of my head, the people I adore from afar:

futureperfect - Such an amazing writer and so much wonderful enthusiasm in the fandom. Her comments are always fun and amusing and encouraging.

ohfreckles - Her pretty icons and her lovely comments are always so very much appreciated. <3

whiskyrunner - The type of writer I admire a ridiculous amount, the sort that makes me want to write more so that one day I can be as good as that. I'm constantly thinking "That turn of phrase - awesome" when I read whiskyrunner's stuff.

toomuchplor - When I saw she was writing in this fandom, I clapped and did a little happy dance. And then was stunned all over again when I read her latest fics.

scribblinlenore - She writes the sort of fics which warms the cockles of my heart. She seems like the sort of person who would do the same too.

knowmydark - The type of writer who constantly breaks my heart and the type I keep going back to for more.

Item A) I marvel at how quality this fandom is. I mean, everyone is lovely and has great supportive attitudes and all, but how can a fandom this size have basically zero badfic and constant ingenuity and beautiful writing and art and vids and any other form of fandom-ish expression I may have missed out? How are you so good?

Item B) I know I seem like a complete non-participant in fandom usually, and that I must just occasionally venture out of my own little darkened box to throw some fic into the ring, and post a meager thank you or two in reply to comments and then disappear away again, but I want everyone to know that I am a devoted lurker and that I am so flipping grateful for every comment, and so following every meme and so composing comments for every fic in my head, even though I don't post them, and so hesitating over the 'friend' button on every page and I love love love you all even though it doesn't seem like I'm there to tell you I love you all.

I hadn't written fic in a long time, and only started writing because Nolan's baby had infected my mind. I timidly posted my stuff on Inception comms expecting everyone to hate it, but I made friends, and I have kept writing and drawing for the fandom despite life trying to get in the way of things.

I love this fandom. I love how intelligent the fans and writers are. I love the many tutorials and guides, and I love how willing tutorial writers are to answer questions. I love the sharing of knowledge that happens in this fandom and the willingness to seek more understanding to make sure our fic is the best ever.
