There comes a time in every fandom when a pillow fort is needed

I'm feeling like what the world needs now is some love, you guys, and what Inception fandom needs is so much love that they over-indulge like a kid in a candy store. You feel a little bit sick the rest of the day, but it tasted awesome so it was worth it.

So, you know, I am the girl with the cookies. As a rule. There may also be cake, because I'm trying out some new recipes. Anyway!

The Inception Anon Love Meme

Rules:

NO BASHING
ANON COMMENTS ONLY
MAKE SOMEONE FEEL BETTER ABOUT THEMSELVES/THEIR DAY
IN THE WORDS OF THUMPER'S MOTHER: IF YOU CAN'T SAY SOMETHING NICE, DON'T SAY ANYTHING AT ALL.
SERIOUSLY, ONLY HAPPY FUN TIMES HERE.

ETA: I know a lot of you were mentioning a friending meme in the comments here. For those still interested [livejournal.com profile] yanethyrael has put one up here!

Dear everyone

Item A) I marvel at how quality this fandom is. I mean, everyone is lovely and has great supportive attitudes and all, but how can a fandom this size have basically zero badfic and constant ingenuity and beautiful writing and art and vids and any other form of fandom-ish expression I may have missed out? How are you so good?

Item B) I know I seem like a complete non-participant in fandom usually, and that I must just occasionally venture out of my own little darkened box to throw some fic into the ring, and post a meager thank you or two in reply to comments and then disappear away again, but I want everyone to know that I am a devoted lurker and that I am so flipping grateful for every comment, and so following every meme and so composing comments for every fic in my head, even though I don't post them, and so hesitating over the 'friend' button on every page and I love love love you all even though it doesn't seem like I'm there to tell you I love you all.

In conclusion) Thank you, fandom, for making me believe in a human desire to do great things just for the sake of doing great things.
