For those of you who don't have the incredible patients I've no doubt it must take to follow me on twitter (@angelgazing, ftr, if you want to join the insanity) I am in the process of doing something I've dreamed about for as long as I can remember and opening my own restaurant.

It's not going to be anything very big, or very fancy. It's not going to be exactly the place I've imagined for years. But it's going to be mine, and I'm so excited about it I tend to lapse into verbal keysmashing when the subject comes up. (Thank whatever from high atop the thing, honestly, for

gyzym's ability to understand when I speak in keysmash.)

I grew up in a restaurant, because my family owned one from the time I was four until they sold it about 9 years ago. I remember being six and training a new waitress on where the tables were. I remember learning to work the register. I still can't handle cash that isn't all facing the same direction. I remember slicing a billion lemons, and watching my great grandmother make bread, and having cake for breakfast, and buttered sourdough straight out of the oven. The smell of it baking is always going to ping a little bit like home for me. We're naming the new place after her.

Anyway, because I keep flailing like the ridiculous person that I am, and it's going to be a crazy and stupidly long process and also, I know that mostly people are here for fandom, I've decided to go ahead and create a filter for the news/updates/random flail about this and the process and getting it going. I myself am a big fan of LOLOLOL and LMAO. Because I'm classy like that. Whatever, life is totally better if you're smiling, so why not do it, huh? :DDDD <--- Also a favorite of mine. And ♥ because really, who doesn't love a good ♥ huh?

Ahhh mine used to be SCHOOL SCHOOL SCHOOL but then I realized it was making me miserable, and frankly, I'm tired of being miserable, so: new life direction. There's only so much time you can spend being unhappy before you just become an unhappy person, and I didn't want that to be me, and I didn't see the frustration paying off in the end, you know? So: restaurant.

I LOVE HAWAII FIVE-0 SO MUCH IT IS JUST ALMOST STUPID. You should come over here! I am tempting all of the people. All of them. Look, DANNY AND STEVE ARE MARRIED. That is like, practically canon. IT NEEDS ALL OF THE FIC. ALL OF IT. FOR THE SAKE OF HAPPINESS. JUST LOOK, JUST LOOK AT STEVE'S SMILE.

Being classy is overrated. Except for when you're in front of your mother. Or the person signing your paycheck. Or your in-laws I suppose ... you know what, let me just stop while I'm ahead. I agree, life is better when you're smiling. I had this habit of writing "♥ for you" in all of my comments a while back but have stopped for fear of seeming like a complete creeper XD

It makes me so very happy when people do what they love instead of what they think they should be doing :DDDD ~~yeah, I do the smiley's too~~ and I can speak from experience when I say I get it. I'm happy devoting most of my time to SCHOOL SCHOOL SCHOOL now but if you'd met me irl about four months ago my constant sadfacing probably would have been off-putting. For reals.

THEY ARE MARRIED. TOTES. And, SHALLOW-TWIN POWERS ACTIVATE, the fact that the four main characters are really good looking (in their own ways) doesn't hurt either. I've had no interwebs for the past few days but I SEE WHAT YOU DID THERE WITH THAT HAWAI'I 5-0 POST AND I APPROVE. I've yet to read it yet but I'm preparing myself for major lawls. I do so love pimp posts ♥
