Kurt smiles, because he's freer with those now. It doesn't take a musical number to coax one out of him. He's more comfortable in his own skin, and he's more comfortable with Puck. "You'll figure it out," he says, dropping the last liner into the pan. He bumps Puck's shoulder with his, and it's stupidly comforting, just like he means for it to be. "We'll make something great. We always do."

High school was a long time ago.
