their stupid faces, omg

So, I need like, a 12 step program for concerts. Like and AA for Live Music Addicts.

I'm not saying I'd go, really, I just like to know that I have the option.

Which pretty much translates to OMG FOB I WANT TO WATCH YOU LIVE FOREVER.

Seriously, it's been over a week now, but I kind of don't have the words even a little bit at all. I love sitting my ass in line and meeting other people who love these bands as much as I do. I love being in the crowd. I love "detox just to retox" and "I will never believe again" and "hell or glory, I don't want anything in between."

I love music. I love all of it.

I've also got a new layout ([livejournal.com profile] angelgazing) thanks to [livejournal.com profile] sleepismyfriend, the banner is made with pictures she actually took at our show, and, again, OMG PETE WENTZ YOUR FACE.

I'm doing this stupid thing where I'm kind of in love with life for no good reason.

Everyone should feel like this once in a while.

This is just wonderful--your wonderful show, how much you love music, how you quote all the best lyrics, your new banner, all of it! Yay for life!

I need that AA for music addicts too. (Let's never go, okay?)

OMG I just, seriously, there were people we met up with in line that offered us tickets to the next show too (which, sadly, ended up canceled) and it was so hard for me not to just say, "You know what? My bags are already packed, I don't see why not!"

So, so hard.

I could never go LMA, really. The meetings would probably all fall on show nights or something.

(Seriously, I want so badly to follow this band everywhere with my heart in my fucking hands and eyes and on my sleeves. I love them so much it's pretty much past stupid. I love how big it felt. I love Pete in the crowd for Saturday. I love "the best of us can find happiness in misery." I love.)

omg the banner is beautiful. Pete Wentz! ♥ Also the quote is from one of my favourite blogspot entries of his. lol I love them all if you cant tell. :P

It sounds like you had such a wonderful show! You are making me miss them and their music and just every single awesome minute of a FOB concert. I didn't get Coffee's for Closers at mine but "I will never believe again" sounds incredible, singing it along with the crowd. It's such an amazing feeling being at a concert especially a FOB concert.

Thanks! I'm kind of crazy in love with it myself. I keep stopping to stare. lol And, god, I agree so hard about the blogspot entries. It took me so, so long to figure out which one to use. But I figured that fit with the week, listening to FOB at top volume in the car with my ears still ringing from the concert. ::grins::

Seriously, I'd go back in a heartbeat. God, I loved it. LOVE. I got really lucky, because they absolutely played every song I wanted most to hear. I mean, I didn't leave thinking "oh, I wish they'd have played ---" which is pretty good for a band with that much music under their belts.

If I wouldn't have gotten "I will never believe again" I think I might have actually bawled. I'm really sorry you missed out on that one, because it was absolutely incredible. It was one of the things I was looking forward to the most. Where as "hell or glory, I don't want anything in between" was the thing I didn't know I wanted that bad.

God, it was so, so, so amazing. I'm still swoony

It's hard not to stare because it's Pete and it's also really bright and colourful and shiny. :D omg the blogspot entries are what made me fall in love with Pete Wentz in the first place and his words. & I actually scarily related to that entry a while back. I think the quote is def very fitting with FOB & their music!

That's incredible that you got so lucky! What other songs did they play? I'm curious. Well they seem to be playing lots of FAD songs on the US tour that they didn't play in other countries. Like we didn't get 'She's My Winona' or 'What a Catch' which I will cry if I actually hear that live. But we still got 'Headfirst Slide' which is one of those things like you said I didn't think would be so good and what I needed until I heard it live. oh and I would have cried if I hadn't got 'Disloyal Order' of course which we did!!! And we always get Saturday anyway, that's one of my favourites.

It seems that I've been reading far too many journalist's view of the concerts in their reviews and those people don't get it, that I've forgotten a little what a FOB concert was like. But then you reminded me! I love singing your heart out and feeling your heart is so full with these songs. It's amazing! I love that swoony feeling and so awesome you still have it a week later.

I'm scared, but only of god and a witness stand

uuugh Pete's words. I just want to spend hours drawing sparkly hearts all around them. I've been known, at the very least, to go on about them for at least that long.

The played a lot of of FAD. We got She's my Winona, What a Catch & Tiffany Blues, which was still fairly new to the line up, I think? Honestly, I'm still so much in love with FAD that it's insane. I was so, so happy to get those. We got Saturday, too, which was really awesome.

I never listen to a journalist's opinion. Never, ever. Concerts aren't meant for them. They aren't for standing in the back taking notes. If you aren't out there in it, then you're missing the whole thing anyway.
