joss is boss

Thing the first: Oh, Veronica, I have missed you.

Thing the second: I did not watch Lost. It's on tape, but I can't make myself view said tape. This is nto a good sign.

Thing the third: My Danny is so gay. And pretty. Let's not forget pretty. And obsessed with the idea of a guy in women's underwear. I hate CBS for keeping this from me for a week.

Thing the fourth: A ficlet to the person who guesses my favorite line of the night. :p

Thing the fifth: Speaking of ficlets: I lose at them. I lose at fics. I lose at writing. I'm getting old and my talent (::snorts::) is leaking away.

Thing the sixth: Later I will curse and swear and hiss and boo at Fox. Fucking teases. Whores. Liars. I WANT HOUSE DAMMIT.

Thing the seventh: I love House. And Chase. And Wilson. And Cuddy. I think that if someone really loved me they'd write me House/Wilson/Chase with a heaping side of Cuddy. You know, if they wanted. ::puppy eyes::

Thing the eighth: [livejournal.com profile] musesfool should poke at [livejournal.com profile] luzdeestrellas (I refuse to look, so I'm hoping I got it right that time) to write post-War Stories Wash/Mal/Zoe. Because she's totally thinking about it.

Thing the ninth: I will obsessively be checking [livejournal.com profile] slashfest I think. Because as much pain as it caused me last time, and as much as thing five is true, I must have that prompt. I must.

Thing the tenth: SERENITY TOMORROW! YAY! OMG SERENITY TOMORROW! I demand that everyone go watch it. I demand. Give me some credit for taste, man, the whole of the internets can't be wrong, right? Plus, it's Joss. You can't go wrong with Joss. Joss is boss.

*waves* Hi! You don't really know me, but I'm a lurker on your livejournal. Anyway, yes, Fox sucks, and baseball (though it is a lovely sport) should not supersede House. Also, Lost this week was kind of...bad, and not all that important (except for the last 10 minutes). Next week, however, looks excellent. Just to let you know. :D

[identity profile] angelgazing.livejournal.com 2005-09-29 05:56 am (UTC)(link)
Hi! I had no idea I had a lurker. That both really nifty and really creepy. Frankly, I often don't believe that people who have me friended read my journal. I feel both popular and stalked. That's so cool. I like you. :p

Basecall can fuck off and die. I say this soully because I am a bitter, bitter person with a deep love of House. Also it's knocked new episodes of CSI: NY off before. And... yeah, you know, every October baseball and I, while typically able to ignore each other, have this arguement. I'm attached to my shows, man, it's just how I am.

And hee! I keep hearing how great Lost is and how great Lost was last week, so it's nice to know that I'm not the only one bored and frustrated by it. (Erm. I'm assuming. ::shrugs::) So YAY for fast forwarding to the last ten minutes. lol Hey, do they ever explain wtf Walt said to Shannon last episode? Because I know there's a website, but that seems like too much effort for a show that, uh, irritates me with its opinion of its own cleverness. Or something.

But really, hi. lol

[identity profile] laurificus.livejournal.com 2005-09-29 03:38 pm (UTC)(link)
Totally not thinking about it, and should totally not be poked to write it. I have willpower, you know.

I also want a couple of slashfest prompts. There's an O11 one in there I think I could do, and of course the mpreg chase is definitely for me.

I will now indulge in random quotage because the House DVDs are mine:

"Patient is orange."

"The colour?"

"No, the fruit."

And:

"What's that? What're you doing?"

"Painkillers."

"Oh for you. For your leg."

"No, 'cause they're yummy. Want one?"

"Unfortunately, your wife is having an affair."

"What?"

"You're orange, you moron."

My love is endless. Endless, I say.

[identity profile] angelgazing.livejournal.com 2005-09-30 12:04 am (UTC)(link)
Liar. Your thiiinking it. You have no pronoun problem. Zoe would be amused. Wash would be nervous. Mal would be... I don't know what Mal would be, but it'd probably be really attractive, were you to write it.

::waits::

Oh, god, I didn't even look at the O11 prompts. Danny and Rusty don't like it when I write them, I think, and I've still got two stories with them that I've got to get done. Woe. And angst.

Also: Believe it or not, the clinic patients just get better. Paraphrased:

Patient: This is how real women are supposed to look. They've just curves, they've got--

House: They've got little people growing inside of them.

I need a House icon.

[identity profile] laurificus.livejournal.com 2005-09-30 06:37 pm (UTC)(link)
See, thing is, Mal *would* be attractive, and Zoe would be amused, and Wash would be nervous, but *I* might fail spectacularly in getting all that across, and my pronoun confusion would cause the internet to, like, implode or something. You don't want to be responsible for encouraging that sort of thing.

I've seen that episode of House, also including the classic line:
House: You have kids! How novel! That changes everything. So if Mommy has heartburn, one of them might catch on fire.

There's still like 7 hours left of request time. I might try and think of a House one before the deadline, probably while I'm at the cinema not paying attention to the film.

And, yes, you do need a House icon. You know what you should do? You should make one, since you're very good at them, and then let me steal it, too. My plans just keep getting better and better.

[identity profile] angelgazing.livejournal.com 2005-10-01 07:39 am (UTC)(link)
I feel alright with being held accountable for good fic that should be written, actually. And I've always wanted to make the internet implode with something I've done. I figure something I've pushed for is like, totally the next best thing, right?

::ponders:: I can't until I'm back on my real computer. But. But... The only Hugh Laurie pictures is fairly limited, because I was planning on doing pic spam with the hands. And so really the only one I have that I lovelove is the motorcycle black and white shot from Entertainment Weekly. mmm I love that one. I think there may be leather. I think maybe that does need to be an icon...

[identity profile] laurificus.livejournal.com 2005-10-02 02:21 pm (UTC)(link)
You think maybe it needs to be an icon? You only *think* this? I'm here to say that I know it does. And you know I'm never wrong.

I had this brilliant and cunning plan, all about how *you* should write the fic, thus ensuring that it would *actually* be good, and then I remembered that you're already writing me like three fics. I still think the pronoun fear outweighs my guilt, but I'm just saying that if I were a better human being, I could be swayed. Alas that I am not a better human being, I guess. *G*

[identity profile] angelgazing.livejournal.com 2005-10-03 04:05 am (UTC)(link)
Well, I don't have the picture with me at the moment, or until like Thursday night or wahtever. So it's difficult to say for absolute certain, but I suspect that yes, in this instance you may be correct, and it may need to be an icon.

Also: yeah, no. You have to write it. Cause I said so. I've got four House prompts and two Danny/Rusty ones due for challenges. And that's not counting [livejournal.com profile] musesfool's birthday fic, which I really need to do sometime before her next birthday.

And that's jsut the official challenge prompts. That's not even considering teh random bunnies or the prompts that I thought maybe I should do since I'm forcing other people to.

[identity profile] laurificus.livejournal.com 2005-10-03 10:36 pm (UTC)(link)
Of course I'm correct. How could it be otherwise?

Yees, that is a fairly substantial number of fic things you have going on there. I'm so glad I'm not responsible for any of them, because you know I would absolutely hate to have made you write any more than you already were.

*wanders off, pondering whether the positioning of a threesome really would be that terrifying*

*briefly returns to ask if there would really need to be actual sex, or if build up and that sort of thing would suffice.*

*wanders back off not thinking about any kind of Wash/Zoe/Mal kind of thing at all*

[identity profile] angelgazing.livejournal.com 2005-10-04 09:19 pm (UTC)(link)
I don't know, because, like, the build up would totally be the best part, you know. And the... building and whatever. But, but then there's the part where the actually sex part has the ability to, like, kill people with teh funny and teh hot and then there's the part where Wash has a bigger cock. To up his confidence and whatever.

::snickers::

[identity profile] laurificus.livejournal.com 2005-10-04 09:35 pm (UTC)(link)
Hmm, but I really really like Mal, and I'd kinda like him maybe to have the bigger cock, just cause.

Maybe I'll write the build up, and someone else - *cough*you*cough* - could write the funny, hot sex.

[identity profile] angelgazing.livejournal.com 2005-10-04 10:01 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, but then Wash can't like, metaphorically hold it over him. Like, Wash is all "haha, so that is why my wife is with me and not you" only not in so many words, because I'm pretty sure Mal would fuck him senseless after he said something like that.

Also: I cannot write sex. At all. It's tragic, really.

[identity profile] laurificus.livejournal.com 2005-10-05 11:36 pm (UTC)(link)
See, I except this, and I know it's true and would make an excellent fic, but the Mal loyalty prevails. I am clearly a hopeless case. *G*

Although, the fucking him sensless part? That I like.

[identity profile] angelgazing.livejournal.com 2005-10-07 06:24 am (UTC)(link)
Of course you like that. Who wouldn't? (I think Wash likes that too, secretly. And he can be secure enough in his manhood with his larger cock to take it up the ass. Really. ::giggles::)

[identity profile] laurificus.livejournal.com 2005-10-07 09:19 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, um, yes. I am lost in the idea of Mal and Wash and a conversation about cocks and then fucking and then sleepy-slow afterwards talk where Wash taunts Mal, and Mal lets him because, well, see the fucking him senseless part. Oh.

[identity profile] madame-d.livejournal.com 2005-09-29 11:31 pm (UTC)(link)
Thing the fourth: A ficlet to the person who guesses my favorite line of the night. :p

Hmmmmm, on VM, Logan saying, 'As much as I enjoy the company of men...' ? ;)

}:)

[identity profile] angelgazing.livejournal.com 2005-09-30 12:05 am (UTC)(link)
::snickers:: While that was fun, sadly my unloved favorite line was from CSI: NY. But you did pretty much have to be me to appreciate that one. ;)

[identity profile] madame-d.livejournal.com 2005-09-30 12:27 am (UTC)(link)
That, I do not watch.

However, I did have a lovely conversation with [livejournal.com profile] geneli4 about how Logan is incredibly comfortable with his (bi)sexuality, which is remarkable for a teenage boy his age. He keeps making gay *jokes* and not insults, and while I find it refreshing and optimistic, it's not.. likely, for a straight teenage boy. It would be interesting to see if they let him come out; Rob Thomas's books have always had a mention of a gay character, though never a major one.

[identity profile] angelgazing.livejournal.com 2005-09-30 05:27 am (UTC)(link)
But my Carmine Danny is so very pretty. Just look at him, smoking like that. ::grins::

Well, Logan is fairly fucked up. I mean, his mom killed herself, his sister is a whore and his father is on trial for murdering his best friend. Plus there was that whole thing where he was in love with his best friend's ex-girlfriend. Honestly, after all that bisexuality just seems like a walk in the park. Plus, he'd totally use it to piss off his father. You know he would.

[identity profile] madame-d.livejournal.com 2005-10-01 12:40 am (UTC)(link)
Just look at him, smoking like that. ::grins::

Don't start; I don't need another obsession.

Plus, he'd totally use it to piss off his father. You know he would.

Oh, I'm *counting* on it. Should we start a campaign with Rob Thomas, you think? *veg*

}:)

[identity profile] angelgazing.livejournal.com 2005-10-01 07:32 am (UTC)(link)
::starts:: ::startsstartsstarts::

I need more people obsessed with my Carmine so I can write more Danny/Mac fic, you know. :p

Also, we should try and make Joss Whedon decide that it should happen. I think he and Rob Thomas are like so gay for each other right now or something.

[identity profile] madame-d.livejournal.com 2005-10-01 04:26 pm (UTC)(link)
Also, we should try and make Joss Whedon decide that it should happen.

Joss is good with homoerotic tension, isn't he? I frankly think that he and Rob and Kevin Smith are all gay for each other and should get together and do some writing, for fun. And, you know, for fangirls.

Actually, maybe we should start a campaign for *that* - Kevin and Joss aren't doing anything productive right now, anyway.

::starts:: ::startsstartsstarts::

Oh, you're mean!

Oh oh oh! Have you read this Weevil/Logan ficlet (http://www.livejournal.com/community/veronicamarsfic/501248.html)? I'm totally biased and love it madly.

}:)

[identity profile] angelgazing.livejournal.com 2005-10-03 04:11 am (UTC)(link)
Joss is king of homoerotic tension, I think. we should get him a crown or something. And then force him to write the Spike tv movie. Because frankly, I wasn't done with Spike yet.

The thing about Joss Whedon though is that he's pretty much just a big fanboy. He's gleefully a fanboy. It's cute, really, and also it means that he understands us. So goddamn it he would be perfect. lmao
