Also, in related news (no pun intended): I believe my mother may actually be trying to kill me before my next birthday.

And only a small part of that is me freaking out because she's decided I should go take my driver's test Monday or Tuesday. Really, only a tinytiny fraction.

Hee. I do fast anyway. My family likes speed. So my grandmother was all mocking me for being so slow at the beginning, which was just sad.

my family likes speed too, but not when Im the one speeding, sadly. I remember when I first got my liscense I used to go way, way too fast. I'm mostly over it now. :D

::snickers:: My grandpa was complaining the other day about me going the speed limit. Which I wasn't, actually, doing. I was going 35 in a 25, and about to get run over. And he's all "::grumblegrumble speeduptooslowbaddriver::" and I was all ::flails:: and the guy behind me was all ::toocloseomg:: and I really hate 4th street traffic. lol

man i was terrified of driving, i wouldnt go for my permit til i was 19, lol, and by the time i was done with my mandatory 6 months i couldnt wait to take the full test! i swear, THINKING about driving used to send me into near panick attacks, being in the front passenger seat was just as bad. now i am happy and normal and no longer scared! yay!

i also live in the city and dont have a car and rarely drive, lol, so maybe i'm not so well adjusted as i like to believe. good luck on your test though.

::raises hand:: me too! I just got my permit a couple of months ago. It wasn't so much terrified of driving as, you know, possessing a deep hatred for the fact that once I got it I would be forced to do all the driving. lol Then it turned into terror. I'm far too nervous a person to drive, really.

I don't have the six months waiting thing though, so I can take the driver's test whenever I wa nt. I'm just not sure I want. ::cringes:: I can't park. We having practiced that yet. I'm so very doomed.
