I went to places where I could forget your name
Thing the first: This new meme needs to die, and hopefully not take me with it. Arg. Hate and so on and so forth. (Actually, you know, it doesn't really bother me that much, all things considered, because I pretty much know that they aren't about me, because none of you lot... I'd say think of me that much, but that just sounds self-pitying and I don't mean for it to. So whatever.)
Thing the second: The House fandom and I need to have some words. I'm still in the shiny new phase of my obsession, the key to keep it such is to keep me in fic dammit. I've got four recs lists that I've read every story on. I want more. I need House/Wilson fic (that doesn't suck)! Hell, I'll settle for House/Chase fic that doesn't suck. I'd probably drop my life and devote all my time to adoring you if you were to give me Wilson/House/Chase that was like a soap opera triangle until House (because he's smart like that, and also a dirty old man) comes up with the obvious solution and everyone is happy. Work with me here, House Fandom. Gimmie what I needs.
Thing the third: I'm counting down the days to the House DVDs, and despite the fact that I really can't afford them, I want them. ::whines:: Unfortunately for you lot when I get my hands on them there will be House fic from me. Oh, oh yeah there will.
Thing the fourth: Why is it that when I want to find something online the internet laughs at my pathetic attempts with glee? No, really, with glee. I want to read the short story for Brokeback Mountain. The internet is denying me. My library is in Hicksville, and sucks, and some idiot parents threw fits about "Two Kings" or whatever it was so pretty much any library in this state that was carrying anything with teh gays in it isn't anymore. It won't have that book, with that story. I want to read it, and I want to read it now.
Thing the fifth: I have a to-write list roughly a mile long. It's not getting any shorter.
Thing the sixth: LJ is being a whore. And not the fun kind. The drug you and take your wallet and your kidney kind.
Thing the seventh: Am currently being fucked seven ways from Sunday by not only the insurance company, but also by the dentist's office. Oh, the ways in which I wish for justice in this world. To be enforced by sharp pronged sporks.

dagdaysofsummer ficlets, especially now that I have nothing else looming directly in front of me. Except one past due birthday fic and another soon to be looming birthday fic to write. I lose.
Thing the ninth: This is quickly turning back into one of those 'no one in the world that I don't hate' days. Except maybe Toby. He's gotta get some love. "What do you think?" "That I just got screwed with my pants on."
Thing the tenth: Everyone of you lot in the US should be watching House tonight on Fox. Come on, slashy snarky doctors. You know you want to. Eventually I'm going to do pic spam of Hugh Laurie's hands, because I do believe they rival teh Thewlis' for best ever. ::sighs dreamily::

Double yay for House. I am also debating buying the DVDs, mostly for the extras and for having pretty shiny copies instead of illegally bootlegged copies.

As for House DVDs, I have dial-up. So illegally bootlegged copies are not in my future, unfortunately. Actually, you know, I'm the sort of person to buy them anyway, just because it's handy to have them in the little box like that. I'm such a geek. And a broke one at that.

No idea what is on the DVDs, other than all the episodes of season one, which I haven't seen. And need to.
Brokebackk Mountain is coming out December 9th. ::sighs:: and I'm going to cry like a little girl when I watch it.
