I'd keep a little farm, chop wood to keep you warm

thing the first: I can't be arsed to caps anything that isn't 'I' at the moment. I don't know why, except the non capsed 'I' makes my soul cry.

thing the second: so I gave up and have maybe been watching house repeats. will someone just tell me who the fuck I'm supposed to be shipping on that show? because I can't figure it out.

thing the third: I'm supposed to be writing Duncan/Logan and/or Danny/Rusty two times over. this isn't happening and it makes me wish for a quick and painless death. logan is a whore and rusty refuses to speak to me. I think the absence of truth hurt him as much as it did me.

thing the fourth: have friended svu comms, to complete my fandom hoppingness.

thing the fifth: everyone should own this song. everyone.

thing the sixth: there should be fic posted within the next few days? of course only like three of you know the fandom at all, but whatever. that's something, right? that makes having me friended not completely pointless?

thing the seventh: fuck it, y'all, hi, I think I probably don't know like half of you, so why don't you all tell me a little something about yourself, and then I'll... tell you something really random about me. like, I love omelets, but I hate scrambled eggs.

thing the eighth: otherwise, if anyone needs me, I'll probably be huddled in the corner singing I guess I'll go eat worms. because I'm five.

thing the ninth: I have to put in an another application tomorrow morning, which means getting up early. greatest uncle ever has suggested that I call an old teacher of mine because she can't keep workers. I'm afraid of that conversation, but I also really want the job. is this what growing up is?

thing the tenth: god hates odd numbers.

I love the Magnetic Fields, and I love that song. And I totally understand being too lazy to capitalise. It happens to me often, although not at the moment, obviously.

Um. I'm 20, I live in Georgia, it's effing hot outside, I'm pissed off at my boss, I can't stop listening to Coldplay, I'm rather hungry, and I'm also a bit tired.

Also, I hate green olives, celery, and sunflower seeds.

I like your posts, I always read them :D.

[identity profile] angelgazing.livejournal.com 2005-07-30 03:06 am (UTC)(link)
Hee, I don't really know their other stuff, but I Don't Really Love You Anymore is, well, love. If only for the line: so just consider me a fan, who remembers every dress you ever wore.

I'm an odd duck that way. :p

Hee, I was in Georgia once (that sounds very. very wrong. I know a crazy lady named Georgia and feel the need to reword that sentence, but then it's funny, so why the hell.) on my way to Florida. It was a family roadtrip and I wanted to kill people. Especially since we moved abou ttwenty miles in two hours, because of road construction and traffic there-in. It was evil. Funnily enough, I'd just gotten the John Mayer CD that was out then (can't remember the name of. oops.) and Why Georgia Why was playing... a lot, when my mom decided to stick it in the CD player.

Bosses can go die. Well, maybe not mine, but yours can. ::nods::

Also, I hate olives of any color, love celery with peanut butter or cream cheese or plain and go through phases where I eat sunflower seeds like crazy and then bitch for days cause they hurt my mouth. I do, however, hate coconut with a very, very hot and burning passion sort of thing.

And you're so the only one. ;)

[identity profile] miss-charmed.livejournal.com 2005-07-29 08:05 pm (UTC)(link)
Danny/Rusty!!!!! Paste me! *g*

SOmething about myself... I hate onion but I love onion rings and I hate liver but I love liver spread. Wee.

[identity profile] angelgazing.livejournal.com 2005-07-30 03:15 am (UTC)(link)
Sadly dear it's not writing itself like I want it to. Because Danny and Rusty are bastards. Also, AIM is a whore. And I'm sorry, but Yahoo can kiss my ass, and will probably have to before I get YM. :p

As for liver spread: a) I've never heard of such a thing and b) ew.

I like onion rings with ketchup if they're cooked right. Otherwise, man, no. Just no.

Randomly about me: I find bacon to be among the grossest things ever. Followed closely by sausage and anything made from pork. Raw meat of all kinds tops the list. ::icks:: And. Um. I've read Good Omens one and a half times, but knew the exact place in the book where it was said angels have to "make an effort". At this point, I can almost watch O11 and recite it with them word by word. I'm not even kidding.

[identity profile] miss-charmed.livejournal.com 2005-07-30 09:09 am (UTC)(link)
HAH! You should try some liver spread, if you find one. I know it sounds gross but it's real yummy with bread :p

Bacon?! I love toasted bacon... and i just finished Good Omens, Crowley/Aziraphale is SO canon.

Recite O11, huh? Somehow, i don't doubt that at all. ;)

[identity profile] angelgazing.livejournal.com 2005-07-31 05:45 am (UTC)(link)
Wow, do I ever think I'll pass. ::shudders:: I do not eat anything that was at one time a major internal organ. :p

I swear, Barnes and Noble teases me with the canonness of Crowley/Aziraphale. They've got one version of Good Omens where they're holding hands on the cover. Just. Teasing me.

You shouldn't, it's a scary, scary thing. "But what am I talking about, you're professions. I'm sure you'll make it out the door. But least we forget, once you do that, you're still in the middle of the fucking desert."

[identity profile] madame-d.livejournal.com 2005-07-30 01:28 am (UTC)(link)
and rusty refuses to speak to me.

Dude, did you feed him? You gotta feed him; the man's got an oral fixation the size of Alaska. Or something.

Aren't scrambled eggs and omelets the same thing? Or are you distinguishing on the basis of presence of butter/cream/milk/whatever eggs are scrambled with? Or filling? Also, you're weeeeeeird. ;)

so why don't you all tell me a little something about yourself

Um... Right now, I'm in popslash fandom. Go ahead, laugh, get it off your chest. ;) I've been a slasher for over 5 years, but popslash is the first fandom where I'm pairing-slutty; before that, I was a big fan of OTPs (because, let's face it, in some fandoms, it's *either* OTP or something too squicky to ponder). I despise het in all ways, shape and form and I like eggs in *all* their permutations and breakfast foods for anything *but* breakfast.

Hi. I also think you should be writing some VM slash. Because yes. :D

}:)

[identity profile] angelgazing.livejournal.com 2005-07-30 04:35 am (UTC)(link)
Dude, are you kidding me? lmao I try and feed Rusty as much as possible. I have an oral fixation that won't quit. And my god that man and his mouth. Guh. Which is all, I fear, painfully obvious in The Absence of Truth in Cartography (http://www.livejournal.com/community/takethehouse/9119.html). I'm a shameless, shameless fangirl. ::hangs head::

Scrambled eggs and omelets are absolutely the same things. This is why I myself am baffled by the randomness of scrambled eggs making me gag faster than any breakfast food not involving lemon cream in my donuts or something. Even putting cheese (the only other thing in my omelets besides eggs) on scrambled eggs doesn't work, they still taste wrong to me. But I do agree that breakfast foods, and cereal most of all, taste best sometime after midnight. ::nods::

I won't laugh at your popslash if you don't laugh at my Hanson love. Though I was over the fanfic with them by fifteen, I swear. :p I'm fandomslutty in general. I used to be all about the OTP, but now, pft, I change fandoms like I change shoes. Which is a to say, a whole hell of a lot.

Randomness about me: Um. I'm drinking Orange Strawberry Banana juice and it's awful. I dislike bananas quite a lot. I'm not sure what possessed me to buy this shit. ::makes faces at it:: Um. I started watching VM because my mom told me I had to, and I fear teh day she finds fandom, because we share a lot of shows. I have a thing for David Thewlis' hands, dislike the extra s after names that end in s when talking about the possessive, I've got mad love for proper grammar, that I never use myself, and I wear socks almost all the time.

And VM slash hates me. Take it up with Logan. :p

[identity profile] madame-d.livejournal.com 2005-07-30 01:53 pm (UTC)(link)
I won't laugh at your popslash if you don't laugh at my Hanson love.

Two and a half years ago, I so would've, but then, I wasn't in popslut popslash fandom back then. I swear, it's not even the *music* (I started with sync-slash, and I don't even *like* NSync!!!), it's the *slash.*

I'm drinking Orange Strawberry Banana juice

Ooh, one of Tropicana Blends, right? I love it! It doesn't taste like bananas to me at *all* since I'm not a fan of bananas, either; it just tastes like orange/strawberry. Weird.

I started watching VM because my mom told me I had to

Your *mom*?! I *would* live in fear of my mom watching the same shows except that's never going to happen because she doesn't watch TV. Pretty much *every* single show that I've watched after high school has been a slash fandom for me and I *know* that I would totally give myself away, slash-wise, if I were to talk about them to my parents.

I almost didn't watch VM, actually. Its pilot episode aired on Wednesday at 8pm, and I was watching the premiere of Lost and flipping to VM during commercials. You see, I was trying to figure out whether to watch Lost or Smallville, which were on at the same time. And, silly me, I chose the latter *smacks self* Anyway, the next day, VM moved to Tuesdays and I was watching something at 8pm and at 9, started channel-surfing and saw the start of VM. And decided to see what that was about. And boy, am I glad for my decision. If only I'd made a smarter one regarding Smallville. >_<

dislike the extra s after names that end in s when talking about the possessive

Heh. I love it; it's snootily British. I also love (and use) British spelling most of the time, because that's what I'd learnt when learning English. American shortcuts make me laugh. What *I* absolutely hate is use of apostrophes where plurals are meant to be, and words like, 'Anyways.' Drive.me.up.the.wall. Proper grammar is of the good.

PPS: Speaking of Hanson - do you know [livejournal.com profile] reggie_mbq? She's a fan and sometimes posts goodies [livejournal.com profile] pretty_stuff.

[identity profile] angelgazing.livejournal.com 2005-07-31 07:18 am (UTC)(link)
The juice is Dole actually. I'm not sure what possessed me to buy it. I'm a Juicy Juice girl, really, the tropical blend is what I lived on for two weeks or whatever when I quit Pepsi. mmmm Juicy Juice. I'm five. Don't mock me.

Your *mom*?! I *would* live in fear of my mom watching the same shows except that's never going to happen because she doesn't watch TV.

Oh, honey, let me tell you a story. lol So, a couple of years ago I had a crush on this soap star, on a tiny, tiny soap opera. And, well, long story short, she hopped on board. Now do you have any idea how off-putting it is to have a crush on the same guy as your mother? We actually went to Florida to meet him too. heh it was... interesting. But ever since then we've always had at least one show in common, and usually it's quite a few. She watches Lost, VM, Buffy*, Angel*, Firefly*, Gilmore Girls*... We're actually planning on sitting down and going over the new fall schedule together to figure out what we're watching and when and who will have to record what because a lot of things are on at the same time. She's scarily close to being my best friend. She's in the top two, anyway.

We've both got the James Marsters thing, and I think she's actually clued into the whole slasher thing, without knowing the term for it. Or that I write it. Because it's... painfully obvious. lol To be fair, she used to watch Queer as Folk. But when I had my Sports Night DVDs she was right there with me with the "Oh, just kiss already!" when it came to Dan/Casey. Either that or "and then they kissed." Those two were so in love. ::sighs::

Um. speaking of long. Heh, and no, I don't know that person, but I shall go peek around their journal now. ::grins::

* We actually have the DVDs for these. If I didn't buy them she did and so on and such. We have a Joss Whedon shelf in her house, with the Buffy and Angel DVDs and books.

[identity profile] madame-d.livejournal.com 2005-07-31 03:41 pm (UTC)(link)
mmmm Juicy Juice. I'm five. Don't mock me.

*stifles giggles* Oh. I uh... wouldn't. Nopenopenope. Heeeeeeeeh!

Sports Night! Squee! Funny story about that: I have a friend who's a Sorkin fanboy (and happens to like sports) who was trying to drag me into West Wing. At that point, I already had too many fandoms and resisted, so he showed me Sports Night instead, 2 episodes of. Never one to miss an opportunity to slashslashslash, particularly when it's RIGHT THERE, in my FACE, a week later I asked to borrow his DVDs. He got suspicious, because well... I *really* don't like (and/or know) sports. I had to fib and say that really, Sports Night has to do with sports the way Charlie's Angels has to do with law enforcement. Which is actually something that's written about the show on imdb.com. But yes, good lord. Just KISS already!!!

Now do you have any idea how off-putting it is to have a crush on the same guy as your mother?

I hope to never know. ROFL My mom knows about the 'gayness obsession' *rolls eyes* but hopefully, not about slash. *shudders* Will try to keep it that way. :D

umm you're supposed to be shipping house/wilson? I SO want to watch VM but they haven't gotten around to showing it here. I will read your SVU fic except that I have no idea when it takes place. Plus the episodes you were talking about I had no clue. I don't think I ever watched them. Still I could read it for the Benson/Stabler.

hmm something random...I'm not good at being random. I don't like scrambled eggs either. I hate peas and tomatoes but I don't mind tomato ketchup I used to not like HP at all before I got into fandom. I might even have hated it. *hides* My newest show that I'm in love with is Everwood eventhough I've only watched like 5 episodes. I really don't need another fandom. *sigh* omg yay random Simonlove! I love the new Serenity trailer. It's shiny.
