Whatever your poison, whatever you favorite cliche, it's open and allowed here. Want to see Steve and Danny make out for cover and discover their ~true feelings? What about when they have to pretend to be boyfriends to keep cover? When they're forced to share a bed all ~platonic-like for weeks and keep waking up cuddling and then can't sleep without each other? Maybe Grace playing matchmaker? The one where everyone but them realizes they're married? Danny gets de-aged to six and Steve has to take care of him? Steve gets magicked into a tiny, angry kitten and/or dragon? They one where they must cuddle for warmth to survive?

Maybe that isn't your flavor. Maybe you want the one where Kono is a punk rock princess that keeps getting into trouble? Or where Chin loses his memory and thinks he's back on the HPD force. Maybe the one where Kono is secretly a criminal mastermind, working the team from the inside. Or where she has the chance return to her pro surfing career and must choose. How about one where Chin goes on an epic road trip?

There is no bad cliche! Whatever your favorite, I promise I want to read/see it, too.

I...feel like I'm new to crack? Possibly. Either that or I am embracing it more fully. because crack is fun, yo.

(okay, and it's also what I do when I'm trying to write things with ~feelings, and the feelings get too hard. see: Sleepless in Seattle WIP, started early february. Since then, three crack-ish fics have popped up, and 1-2 more are in progress. yup.)

DRAGONS! Steve is prettiest of all princesses! And poor Danny is the most disgruntled of all knights. I feel like if anyone were to write an actual medieval au, with dragons, Danny would be this kind of accidental knight person who wnet around slaying dragons, because he somehow always got involved in the dragon messes, and there were all these damsels in distress all "You saved me! now we should get married because actually my parents stuck me here for this purpose and I"m a princess and this is how the story goes tralalala" and he would be like >:( no. tell your parents to stop giving you to dragons. I am disgruntled and have to go fight more dragons. And eventually he would run into steve, who would be all: "no, I do not need your help, I totally have this."
Danny:o.O"Oh really? because it looks to me like you're trapped in its claws, weaponless, I might add, and not very likely to escape. But, okay, you got this one. really"
Steve: stubborn face "yes, I do."
And then the dragon with the fire and almost eating of Steve, and Danny defeats the dragon, but not without getting a nasty scratch on his arm. And pretty much it's just the first episode with dragons after that. And that's also how steve starts being called "the prettiest princess" by danny, since he usually rescues princesses, and what steve doesn't tell him is that, yeah, he kind of is a prince, but that's a different story.

....uh. yeah. anyway.

Well, now I'm just going to have to write it now won't I? Poor disgruntled Danny who keeps getting caught in these situations. (He might happen to adopt a cute little Princess Grace, since she had more sense than the others and she's only eight. He couldn't just leave her.)

Psh, of course. And see, she gets to be his favorite princess ever, as he often says, and Steve maybe gets a little jealous at that and has to remind himself that he is not actually a princess and he needs to stop that.

Steve wants to be the prettiest Princess in Danno's Kingdom. But he will suffer in silence because he loves Gracie too! (and that reminds me of the crossdressing fic I was thinking about...)

Danny would totally bust a rib laughing if Steve pulled on one of those gowns. Especially because he's like, giant sized, and giant sized dresses are not easy to come by, so he probaly had to have it made for him. And, of coures, Steve stiffly informs him that he made it himself, obviously. He knows his way around with a needle in thread. This does nothing to help Danny's laughter or his conviction to call Steve "Princess" at every possible opportunity.

Let's go with: very awesome.

All this talk of pretty pretty princesses reminded me of a boardgame we used to have when i was little. turns out, it exists. I don't remember the rules, because I'm pretty sure that when we played, we just tried to fit as much jewelry on as possible. Oh, but then Steve would be sad that Danny laughed and Danny would have to convince him that he really is very pretty. :D

I think I might have played that game many a year ago.
