There comes a time in every fandom when a pillow fort is needed

I'm feeling like what the world needs now is some love, you guys, and what Inception fandom needs is so much love that they over-indulge like a kid in a candy store. You feel a little bit sick the rest of the day, but it tasted awesome so it was worth it.

So, you know, I am the girl with the cookies. As a rule. There may also be cake, because I'm trying out some new recipes. Anyway!

I don't even know, guys... Got sucked into the fandom fully back in September, and now my LJ is full of Arthur/Eames and Ariadne/Arthur/Eames stories (and the occasional Saito/Cobb), my bookmarks are overflowing with Inception fic, and I talk on AIM with fellow writers. I've only found one other fandom this welcoming and open, and that one is made up of about twenty people over on fanfiction.net.

Also, Arthur/Eames. And Cobb/Saito, Saito/Robert, even Cobb/Robert, but especially and primarily A/E. Never been a slasher before, what have these boys and this fandom done to me?! I don't know but I like it.

So basically I just love this entire fandom, the sheer variety of the fic available, the lack of ship wars, and the way everyone's so damn friendly. It makes this six-year, many-fandomed writer smile.

Seriously. Everything you touch/think about/write/create/INCEPT/ turns to magic and awesome and magical-awesome unicorns.

I came for Inception and the amazing art, I stayed because I think I may have legitimately fallen in love with you. I'm not even kidding. <3

her insomniac!arthur fic is a source of everlasting joy to me. she is nice and lovely and an amazing person. NEVER SHUT UP RENAY. ALWAYS WRITE MOAR.

huge set of wows to the players. in a canon where you can take your character in so many ways for so many reasons, the amount of thought people end up putting into it can be staggering and delicious. rarely do fandoms have good fic, good fanmixes, good fanart, AND good roleplay. inception, you are ridiculously fabulous.

I cannot even deal - I am chronically sleep-deprived because all of you Inception writers are so addictive. I was scared to watch the movie because I KNEW it couldn't come close to tugging on my heartstrings like all of you amaaaazing peeps: Ragreprufrock, Cherrybina, Cobweb_Diamond, Gyzym, Jibrailis, Foxxclub, The_Hoyden, and so many more

I love, love your university AUs! I've been checking your LJ regularly since I read the three fics. I'm still hoping you'll write more for this fandom.

I would like to thank all the slash fans who don't bash Ariadne. It is so so nice and to be able to read slash without running into the "omg-two-x-chromosomes-BURN-THE-WITCH" attitude all over the place. So much of this fandom seems to feel that there's enough love for all the characters, and it is such a relief.

I just recently found Inception fic (and my undying love for it. I've seriously been doing nothing but writing/ready for days. And I feel kind of weird because I don't really know anyone in the Fandom but I'm glad that you guys make me feel welcome even if I am a little bit scared to befriend people.

You guys are seriously rock-kick-ass and you write/draw some of the best fic/art I've ever seen in my life. You're so inspiring ♥

crotalus_atrox's fanart feels like a special secret only I get to know about (well, me and the good folks at the eames_ariadne comm) and I could roll around in it forever. Love her, love her unique and instantly-recognisible art, love her comments. :-)
