Last night, I wrote this little thing for aredblush. I think it's probably going to end up being part of a bigger verse/story which is... uh, an Arthur/Eames Catholic boarding school AU. Because apparently there is not a situation that I am not willing to turn into an Arthur/Eames AU.

And I mean, aredblush and I went over this on twitter a few nights ago. (Again, I'm angelgazing there now, too, if you want to follow me... just let me know that you aren't a bot!) and basically it's a story of being in love with the person no one thinks you should be. It's having to come to terms with who you are and what you want and learning to be okay with that, in face of everything you've ever been taught. It's Arthur being so fucking in love that he isn't content with just whatever place he can carve out for them, because he wants more, he wants it all, and he wants Eames, and it's all he can do just to hold onto that.

Or possibly it will be based around the premise of Stigmata. Because I fail at originality.

Or I won't write any of those things, because they sound hard, and like the sort of thing that is above my paygrade. Maybe I'll just write ridiculous and fluffy Christmas fic, instead, but I have no ideas for it because my brain hates me and wants me to suffer.

I think it's rebelling against finals.

Ah, oh my gosh you are awesome. LOL I'm really, really glad that you liked the snippet and the idea! I'm just, I don't know, a little bit terrified? It's so grand in my head, and I am not the best at, you know, grand things. Ridiculous I can do! Terrible humor I've got down! Grand, and deep, and with a side of heavy religious angst because they are being raised in an environment that says God made them, and God is infallible, but THEY are wrong... It takes subtly, I think, and I have got the heaviest of hands with these things, and ANYWAY OMG THANK YOU.
