This was so, so lovely! Realistic medical terms and procedures FTW!! I don'y have medical training, but I'm pretty much the only one in my family who doesn't, and I've spent my life listening to them and asking questions and having things explained in detail, and I work in a hospital (as admin), so I too get really miffed at unrealistic injuries and treatments -- my family are constantly getting barged with questions when I have to write something along those lines! It's a joy to read something done properly for a change!

Yeah, nothing takes me out of a story faster than nonsensical medical stuff, so that part's reeeeeally important to me. I hate it when i'm enjoying a story and then they do something crazy and ARGH. So i'm extra-glad it worked for you! :D
