I really adore it when they don't actually manage to say what they mean. Like, they would totally be the kind to go YEARS without ever admitting that they're together or whatever. Even though they're madly in love.

They could go absolutely forever without 'fessing up. It's one of my favorite things, I'll be honest. On the list of tropes I adore: Saying I love you without ever saying I love you. Arthur and Eames would be the best ever at it, too. The bessst.
