productivity is hard
I should be in bed right now, but first, a couple of things:
1. OH MY GOD SHAWN AND GUS HAIIII I HAVE MISSED YOU. <33333333333
2. I FINALLY WATCHED GLEE.
2.a) HELLO, DARREN CRISS, NICE TO SEE YOU ON MY TELEVISION, NOW PLEASE TO BE GIVING ME BACK THE CURLS AND THAT ADORABLE FUCKING HALF SMIRK THING THAT MADE ME FALL IN LOVE IN LIKE LESS THAN 2 MINUTES OF A VERY POTTER MUSICAL.
2.b) UM. UM. HOLY SHIT. HOLY SHIT that scene was so very fucking good oh my god and just. Ah, ah, ah I haven't felt the need to have an episode on my HD this season, but OH THIS ONE.
2.c) I still want to set Schue on fire. This is not a spoiler, it is a fact of life.
2.d) WHERE IS THE FIC WHERE IT'S YEARS DOWN THE LINE AND KAROFSKY IS STILL AN ASSHOLE AND HE NEVER ACCEPTS HIMSELF FOR WHO HE IS AND HE CONTINUES TO LASH OUT AND HATE HIMSELF AND HATE KURT FOR BEING EVERYTHING HE ISN'T BRAVE ENOUGH TO BE AND HE'S NEVER GOING TO BE HAPPY, NOT REALLY, BECAUSE HE'S SETTLED FOR THE LIFE HE'S SUPPOSED TO WANT INSTEAD OF THE ONE HE THINKS ABOUT SOMETIMES JUST TO GET THROUGH AND YOU'RE NEVER GOING TO BE GOOD FOR ANYONE IF YOU CAN'T BE GOOD WITH YOURSELF, NOT EVER.
3. Today I was avoiding traffic by hanging around Target when a guy walks up behind me and says, "Excuse me, ma'am?" And I'm thinking "Yeah, I can't find ANYTHING in this store, please don't ask me for help," but I'm fresh off three hours of customer service training videos so instead I say, "Yes?" And he says, "Has anyone told you lately that you are gorgeous?" Which is a ridiculous statement, because my hair was a mess and my makeup was ruined and I kept tripping over my own pant legs and was walking toward the Starbucks inside of Target like it held the meaning to life, and also, you know, I'm me. And it isn't as though I didn't realize it was a lame pickup attempt. But still, it made me smile.
3.a) It's so easy to make someone's day just a little bit better, you guys. So easy. Why don't more people do that?
4. Started the new job today. Spent an hour playing on my phone, waiting for the training officer to start training me. But apparently I got paid for it, so... I guess that's a win?
5. You should all feel free to email me fic in case this happens again. Please, please, for the love of god.
... And now I am really going to bed, homework totally undone. Fuck.
