cooofffeeeeee

Oh, this insomnia can just fuck off and die.

I know, I know, that I went to bed later than I should have. I can own up to that. But I swear to god, I was awake every 20 minutes for absolutely no reason at all. Next thing I know, I'm dreaming about hitting the snooze button only to realize--hahaha--my alarm had been going off for ten minutes. Awesome. Not.

Later, I will probably give in and do something I never thought I'd do and make a sticky post with a policy. I don't know, you guys. I don't go out of my way to keep RL from this journal, but I do try my best to keep this journal from RL. (Specifically, I don't want to deal with my family and a few of my friends knowing that I write, let alone that I write about boys making out. (Well. Ideally that's what I write. In reality, I get really frustrated because they keep doing anything but. STOP IT, ARTHUR. JUST KISS HIM ALREADY.)) Let's not go doing things that'll mix the two, more than I'm comfortable with, yeah?

If anyone wants to friend me at Twitter (lipstick_karma) that's awesome! I think it's going to fall into line with LJ, where my family doesn't get to know I have one. I don't have a facebook, and I intend to keep it that way. (Wow, wow, it just took me three tries to spell intend. School is going to be interesting.) But please do not post comments to this journal in either place.

Now, I will attempt to not fall asleep during my federal government class. That battle will, I suspect, be much more interesting than the class itself, which lately consists mostly of the prof. getting increasingly more horrified at the lack of response to her questions.

...waitwhat. Does it show who you're replying to? EVEN IF THE ENTRY IS PRIVATE?

That kind of freaks me the fuck out.

From what I understand--and I could be totally wrong--it posts a link to the entry that's being commented to, so I assume that no one who doesn't already have access could get the content of the original post. Which is why my response to that happening would be to lock my LJ, which I rarely ever do now.

That's the impression I'm getting. But a) people sometimes quote parts of an entry in their comment, and b) not all of my LJ is private, so the linked entry being private would not prevent random people stumbling upon my RPF porn. :/

...which, granted, could happen anyway--but they'd have to go looking. In this case they'd be getting linked to my LJ.
