Well, I'm home. Sort of.

The last few weeks have been... bad.

Wednesday my great grandmother has a heart attack, she stayed in a coma until Sunday when she passed away.

It's really hard for me to say just how much this woman means to me, so let me just say that she is one the strongest, most beautiful women I have ever known. She never let any one tell her that she couldn't do something and she never let me believe that there was anything that I could not do. She was the only woman in the state of Oklahoma over 70 who would watch the Daily Show and laugh at all the jokes, she gave me the love of passion for politics that I have and she above every one else taught me that there is no shame in always speaking your mind. She was wonderful and funny and the kind of woman that I can only hope to some day be, but she never, not once talked to me as though I was anything less than her equal.


So, anyway, I am a big fan of escapism.

I need shiny, happy fic links! Please? Rec me something funny or sappy or fluffy, if you would. Het, slash, HP, JoA, GG, whatever. Just no Snape!fic. lol
