(g) So were I to, hypothetically, take a weird format I've used before, in a different fandom mind, and use it for one of my slashfest fics, would that be cheating?

The fic where Sam and Dean are on a road trip, and there are cheap motels and greasy diners and everything's exactly the same as it's always been, and it's exactly the same as it's always gonna be, and Dean has nightmares about That Thing He Can't Face and Sam doesn't get it and they bicker and banter and there are fist fights and pool sharks and falling into a dirty motel pool, right on the border to Mexico, on Christmas eve, wearing a Santa hat and enough issues on sleeves that it's finally, finally enough, dripping wet and stupid and tired and lonely, with the one person they'll ever really love.
     6. Krum/Cedric/Harry fic! (Please to be noticing the placement of Cedric.)
     7. Reviews. No, really, like the kind that go in depth or line by line and stuff.
     8. Mal fic! Gen or Mal/River, I ain't complaining either way.
     9. As carylic put it: a large inflatable pool smeared completely with butter then filled with numerous naked pretty-boys.
     10. The fic where Sirius and Remus love each other, but don't trust each other, because Sirius is a bastard and Remus never says what he really means, and they're fucked but they were fucked all along and they're really, really just doing the best they can with what they got.

heh I did not know that. I just know that I am very, very bad at it, and being bad at it is a running joke on Arrested Development. So, naturally, the quote appearing on the Colbert Report was just a sign that I need it. ;)

As for the Decemberists, I must admit, I've not heard a song of theirs that I didn't love. But then, I've only heard a handful. lol
