I won't forget you (but I'll forget myself)

1) I am too stupid to download Semagic.

2) I am too stupid to upgrade AIM. (Or maybe that's the computer. Yeah, let's blame the computer.)

3) I feel like I haven't been home in forever, and now I am but only for one night before I gotta pack up to go to my mom's.

4) I'm starting these classes tomorrow, that will hopefully help me pass all the tests I need to do the nursing school thing. Or to, at the very least, help me get a semi-decent job.

5) I'm sick and tired of people laughing at the idea of me going into nursing and maybe med school later. Seriously. Though it could be worse, because you know, I've gotten to the point of doing it just to prove people wrong.

6) I've resigned myself to being the dumbest person in the room.

7) Dial-up can choke on a cock.

8) Tomorrow night I will have a DSL connection. SEND ME STUFF OMG PLEASE?!

9) I'm being attacked by a jillion itty bitty buggy things. They've all got wings and they all think that the monitor is where they'd love to be the mostest.

10) Erm. So. I was supposed to be writing Danny/Rusty, but I forgot what about them I was supposed to be writing. ::bites lip::

*runs through and hugs you*

Hi. How are you, miss?

[identity profile] angelgazing.livejournal.com 2005-09-05 06:14 am (UTC)(link)
::tacklehugs::

Bored. And you, dear? ::grins::

[identity profile] chuffing.livejournal.com 2005-09-05 06:15 am (UTC)(link)
Uber tired, yet not in bed. Damn that LJ for keeping me awake. :DD

[identity profile] angelgazing.livejournal.com 2005-09-05 06:25 am (UTC)(link)
LJ is a whore that way. ::nods:: I've got to keep up with my f-list, I haven't the time for sleep. :p

Anything I can do for ya? I can. Um. Offer you all I've learned from CSI. Which is handy in the hiding-bodies thing, I would think. Just in case. :)

[identity profile] chuffing.livejournal.com 2005-09-05 06:28 am (UTC)(link)
I didn't know you were into CSI! Or, at least I don't think I knew. I'm obsessed with that show. Have the first four seasons on DVD. You ship anyone on there?

[identity profile] angelgazing.livejournal.com 2005-09-05 06:32 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, a couple of summers ago I was ALL ABOUT CSI. In all caps like that. Now I'm saving that for CSI: NY and my pretty, pretty Carmine Danny. ::grins::

CSI: the original, though? I'm a Nick/Greg shipper. It helps that I read somewhere that the actors where living together. lol

[identity profile] chuffing.livejournal.com 2005-09-05 06:36 am (UTC)(link)
See, I don't like CSI:NY that much, but everyone else seems to. I like Miami well enough, but I prefer the original one.

It helps that I read somewhere that the actors where living together.

Wot?! I did not know that. Keith will die. Brace yourself. I ship Grissom/Sara like you would NOT believe. If it doesn't happen in the next season or two, I am writing a strongly worded letter.

[identity profile] angelgazing.livejournal.com 2005-09-05 06:45 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, no see I have so much hate for Miami that I had to stop watching it. I kept randomly screaming, "shut up, David Corusso, nobody likes you" at the TV. And Alex? Arg. She baby talks to corpses.

I wasn't wild about NY at first either, but it grew on me. Again, Carmine. Plus there was the obviousness of him sleeping with Mac. And Mac finally chilling out enough to harrass the suspects in a way that I find to be amusing. It's the little things. ;)

::Cringes:: Sara is, I would have to say, probably my least favorite character on CSI. Not on all of them, just on the original. I dunno, I'm never a fan of the ship that's being shoved at me, is all. I think. It's not like I dislike Jorga Fox, because she was great on the little bit of the West Wing she did... ::shrugs:: And the Eric Samada/George Eads thing was never confirmed, I don't think. I just read that they were "roommates" from a shipper and I... shipped.

[identity profile] chuffing.livejournal.com 2005-09-05 06:53 am (UTC)(link)
Hahha I kinda like him. But I hate Alex.

I don't know why I don't like NY. I think it's boring, though. :( I wish I liked it. I try to, at least.

I didn't like Sara at first, either. But I like the idea that Grissom wants her and it confuses him so he controls it so much. You can just feel it. I think if he wasn't Grissom, I wouldn't care for it, but he is so closed that it's interesting to watch.

I never really thought of them together, but yeah, I do now, thanks!

[identity profile] angelgazing.livejournal.com 2005-09-05 07:15 am (UTC)(link)
He's a creepy, skeevy old man. :p Plus he's got thing going on where he repeats everything he says. "I tell you what. I want you to do something for me. I want you to go over there, so you can look adoringly at me later on. Okay. And I promise. I promise you that I will make everything better. Everything will be better because I am the hero of this story." Or something like that. lol

Grissom I love. I love him a lot, in random ways. His geeky glee early on, and the fact that he can take a line and make it work like no one else can. Honestly if it weren't for him I don't think CSI would be what it is, or where it is. He knows everything except how to interact with people. Arg. You make me want to write Grissom fic. But it'd probably be Grissom/Catherine, just because I really don't like Sara. :X

[identity profile] chuffing.livejournal.com 2005-09-05 07:47 am (UTC)(link)
HHAHAHHAHA OMG SPOT ON!! :))

Oooh, I could totally handle Grissom/Catherine. I shipped them first, actually.

[identity profile] angelgazing.livejournal.com 2005-09-05 07:58 am (UTC)(link)
::bows:: And I didn't even get started on his Sunglasses of Justice, and his SupaMan Wannabe pose, when it comes time to make a Grand Statement (that Grissom would say with a smile, like the geekygeekygeekboy that he is, like it's a bad joke and he's amused by it and that's why I love Grissom more than all the others.) with the removing his sunglasses and putting his hands on his hips, his jacket pushed back because he. Arg. Yeah. I don't like him. lmao.

Grissom/Catherine has that whole best friends thing going on. Or it did anyway. Remember in the first season where it was made clear that he knew that Eddie was cheating on her and just didn't say anything and she was all pissed off about it? And he's protective of her and he trusts her. Um. I'm strange, you know. I don't ship. I just... could, I think.

(Plus there was Jackpot, and everyone thinking she was his wife and him just smiling all amused like and. huh. I don't ship. Shut up. ::grins::)

[identity profile] miss-charmed.livejournal.com 2005-09-05 11:06 am (UTC)(link)
DANNY/RUSTY.

Also, you're getting DSL? *OMGSOJEALOUS*

[identity profile] angelgazing.livejournal.com 2005-09-05 08:21 pm (UTC)(link)
Sadly, no. I just get it for the night when I'm hooked up at my mom's. Still, the night is better than not at all...

[identity profile] laurificus.livejournal.com 2005-09-05 01:32 pm (UTC)(link)
You were writing porn, weren't you? You know you were. Or maybe it was something long and plotty. Maybe it was both. *G*

Oh, remind me, and I'll send you music.

[identity profile] angelgazing.livejournal.com 2005-09-05 08:22 pm (UTC)(link)
::ponders:: Well, neither of those sound like me...

[identity profile] laurificus.livejournal.com 2005-09-05 08:27 pm (UTC)(link)
Damn. How about bantery conversation? The ocasional kis?

Are you still after Tori, by the way?

[identity profile] angelgazing.livejournal.com 2005-09-05 09:17 pm (UTC)(link)
Well... That's maybe a little more like it. lol With snack foods. I know there were snack foods. Funnel cake. And maybe a big blue frozen drink.

I'm after anything that other people think I should have. I just want new. I'm not that picky about what it is.

[identity profile] laurificus.livejournal.com 2005-09-05 10:20 pm (UTC)(link)
Snack foods are good. *G*

Okay, I'm really really bad at this, and I have no idea what you already have, but:

Tori Amos, Hey Jupiter (http://s16.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=1PRJTPD3NK4TU0Y2SFELCCGZDD) - it's live, and it has extra stuff the original doesn't, I think

Jess Klein, Shonalee (http://s26.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=2WU6HLU3FISLK0WDVKGYX8FVL3) -- I don't think I would normally like, but I really do. Ironically, though, there is not a trumpet to be found anywhere in it.

Amos Lee, Keep It Loose, Keep It Tight (http://s36.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=3IHCNCXPX2EKC0YGVKXIBLGNVQ) -- the most fabulously laid back song ever.

Josh Rouse, Why Won't You Tell Me what (http://s35.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=351RWSX4EJGSF2SA2SJV5UNMAU) -- The song is all right, but the piano solo is the kind I love. *G*

[identity profile] angelgazing.livejournal.com 2005-09-06 06:38 am (UTC)(link)
YAY! Thank you! ::beams:: Thankyouthankyouthankyou. ::tacklehugs:: And you know, ::downloads like crazy yay::

[identity profile] laurificus.livejournal.com 2005-09-06 07:48 pm (UTC)(link)
*grins*

No problem. Hope you enjoy them.

[identity profile] angelgazing.livejournal.com 2005-09-07 05:39 am (UTC)(link)
I love them all. You've got very good taste in music. lol Keep It Loose, Keep It Tight is on repeat. I love laid back music.

[identity profile] laurificus.livejournal.com 2005-09-08 04:38 pm (UTC)(link)
yay. So glad you actually liked them. *G*

Oh, yeah. Keep It Loose,Keep It Tight was on repeat for me, too, for like the first few weeks after I heard it. It's like the best song ever -- although, admittedly, I say that a lot.

[identity profile] angelgazing.livejournal.com 2005-09-09 05:36 am (UTC)(link)
I don't trust people who don't randomly announce things as "the best [thing] ever". Clearly they've got no appreciation for random, fleeting, yet absolute and pure love. ;)

[identity profile] laurificus.livejournal.com 2005-09-09 04:38 pm (UTC)(link)
Exactly. It shows a complete lack of proper character really. :D

[identity profile] angelgazing.livejournal.com 2005-09-10 03:51 am (UTC)(link)
Damn skippy it does. I mean, honestly, how do people go through life, without random overwhelming love for something? Or even whelming love, because I feel that if overwhelming is a word then whelming should be. It also loses all meaning if you type it enough. lol

[identity profile] laurificus.livejournal.com 2005-09-10 05:15 pm (UTC)(link)
Whelming whelming whelming. You're right, it *does* lose all meaning.

And now I'm consumed by the need to know why whelming isn't a word. If you can be underwhelmed and overwhelmed, then what does it mean just to be whelmed? Because there must be a middle of the road point between over and under.

I think I'm going to start saying 'this music is whelming, really.' and 'I feel that this is nothing more than average. Frankly, I'm just whelmed.'

[identity profile] angelgazing.livejournal.com 2005-09-11 06:40 am (UTC)(link)
Okay, that's my new favorite quote ever, I think. I shall steal it from you and go around always saying, "frankly, I'm just whelmed." And people will look at me funnier than usual, but that'll be alright.

The lack of whelm as being a word has always baffled me, you know. I mean, it lacks sense that people aren't whelmed. I mean, it's not like life is full of over and under feelings all the time, right? Or am I just boring and average and whelmed?

[identity profile] laurificus.livejournal.com 2005-09-12 01:13 am (UTC)(link)
Well-- and of course I've been thinking about this -- there's over and underestimated, and you can also just be estimated. Now, all right, to be under estimated isn't exactly a feeling, but the same principle should definitely apply. Therefore, you should definitely be able to be whelmed. I think I might write to someone about this. It simply cannot stand as it is.

And 'frankly I'm just whelmed' should be on an icon of some sort. Although, what that would be I have no idea.

Funny looks are also good. It's the rest of the world that doesn't understand us, you know.

[identity profile] sabriel.livejournal.com 2005-09-06 03:08 pm (UTC)(link)
You are not dumb, no matter how much you like to think you are. *eyes you* yay on starting classes. I hope they're interesting. *hugs tight*

[identity profile] angelgazing.livejournal.com 2005-09-07 05:42 am (UTC)(link)
::clinges:: OMG I am though. I cannot do math. I can count back change, but only if I don't think about it, because then it gets all complicated. Stupid class thingy doesn't start until next week, because my mommy lied to me and stuff. lol It's really a terrible thing, because now I have time to stress about it. ::snuggles:: But thank you for thinking I'm not a complete idiot.
