take this ride and let it slide
Arg. So, so I gave in. I'm writing Benson/Stabler. Only it's looking more like, you know, gen SVU fic as it goes on, which is vaguely annoying, thank you. I dislike it when my shippy fic goes all gen. ::sulks::
I've encountered a problem, however. It wants to plot. Well, I mean there's plot, all like case-y and stuff. (But not Casey, because while she was funny all mildly!insane in the season finale I still refuse to like her on the grounds that Alex was prettier and smarter and better.) But it wants to plot and make me keep writing plot, so it can do that fun twisty ending thing that all the episodes do. Which is just annoying, kthx. Because one requires more work and more words and more plot, but the other requires more, what's the word, exposition.
And I really do have like three different plots in this already or something and I hate that. I wanted to do something quick and easy, but Benson and Stabler just won't fuck on demand and that's sad. ::makes sad faces::
Er. So anyway. A "poll" to plot or to Ploooot. That is the question.
