Thing teh third: IF I HAVE TO TRY AND EXPLAIN ONE MORE TIME WHY I WOULD NOT GO TO THE BIRTHDAY PARTY OF SAID CHILD THEN I WILL KILL SOMEONE SO MUCH THAT THEIR ANCESTORS WILL FEEL IT.

Thing teh fourth: I cannot find a way to be clearer about my wishes than "If I miss The Inside because you're going to that brat's birthday party you are going to hear about it. I'm going to be mad if it happens. Are we clear on that? Do you understand? I will be home at eight."

Thing teh fifth: I missed the first twenty minutes of The Inside, and couldn't see another fifteen of it, because a certain person living here does not grasp the concept of "I'm watching TV and the light glares RIGHT THERE LOOK IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO SEE WHAT IS HAPPENING ON THE SCREEN WITH THE SHOW I'VE WAITED AGES FOR."
