I read this last night probably around five times and didn't know what to say to it except wow. When I heard the premise from someone else, I was like, EAMES AS AN ASEXUAL? THAT'D NEVER WORK HAHAHA, but you handled it with amazing deftness and matter-of-factness, and especially with their dialogue, there's such a great undercurrent of love and fondness and intimacy. Though my favorite part is definitely Arthur recounting his ex-girlfriend who later came out as a lesbian (and laughing, because really, what do you do with that), I think really my absolute favorite is Arthur realizing Eames is safe, and he is seized with affection, and oh. ♥
