I think that this was posted a year and a half ago. But I'm commenting anyway, because it's so beautiful.

The tone of this -- it's perfect. “Fate,” Sirius barked, lifting the bottle in mock salute, “the ultimate one night stand.” It's bitter, it's clever, it captures the situation perfectly. There's so much fanfiction out there that it tends to get a bit repetitive after a while, but the angle you've got here is definitely new, and memorable, and I love it.
