Uwah. Please excuse my incoherency ... I had decided I'd read this (found a link to it from a list on the daily_snitch) and then go to sleep, so I'm about five minutes from passing out but had to comment and say how absolutely incredible this was.

I'm a huge fan of a more bitter, hard Remus, and you captured him perfectly. I agree with the person above me, that the dialogue really really makes this story as perfect as it is. (Although yeah, description and characterization and guh Sirius was so pathetic sometimes) It was very angsty without dissolving into teenage melodrama ... you conveyed really well how important, the things that went on, were to those involved ... the way that it actually feels. Also, I really want to fangirl your ability to convey so much, so much history with just a few sentances inserted here and there. That's a really difficult thing to master, and you've got it down with wonderfully subtle touch.

Wow. Really amazing work. I want to dig around and look for more stuff that you've done.
