I really like this. It's fascinating how you've homed in on Remus's constant awareness of being a werewolf, and others' denial or misunderstanding of that. Your discussion of heroes and villains, and of Remus and Sirius not being either, is also neat. This story challenges a lot of canon ideas about identity, but deftly and respectfully. Lovely work.
